I don't know how the bcc works but won't it depend on what task is set? Or is it just the one with the biggest wins?

Some may like to do some extended ridge flying or out and returns (if not too windy) they are all options rather than a down wind dash...depends on preferences.

To be a bit more specific on your question of sw or se that depends on how far you want to go really. 

S or se is easier to start with but then gets very hard as you get up against Bournemouth  sw is harder to start but had more options later for distance.

Hi

TVHGC will be hosting a round of the British Clubs Challenge (BCC) on Sunday 7th June 2015. Expect Combe to be busy with a lot of pilots aiming to go XC!


The BCC is a fun entry leave comp aiming to help pilots make their first XC flights. As a safety feature the all the pilots in the comp will only be making LEFT turns on thermals up to 1000' above take off. We would kindly as that ALL PILOTS regardless of whether they are in the comp or not obey this rule.


If you would like to know more about the BCC (it is a great way to learn to fly XC) why not attend the briefing at Combe at 10am.
