On that subject I would like to thank Thee for her brilliant voluntary work covering all the social events over the last few years. I for one have found her relentless dedication to keeping the show on the road refreshing and will miss her in that role.
Thee has decided not to stand to Social Secretary next year due to her commitments out of Paragliding so we need to find another keen individual who wants to join the team.
Please contact myself or Richard Bungay if your interested. All the roles are up for grabs but we do have big gaps to fill in Tech/Comms, Social and Safety. Without these we can't continue with full operations in 2016. It's open to everyone!
I'll post more on this in a bit.

--Hi Thee, I pretty much go to most of the club evenings now that they are back at Inkpen for a shorterdrive.Ilike the idea of nearto the M4 for quicker access and alternating venues IF there is another area that covers the majority of our membership........you only have to try it for say 3 occassions to see if the members put their money where their mouth is and start turning up.I've never found a club night a waste of time.....keep up the fabulous work as it always improves my pilot knowledge.CheersMarcusSent from Samsung tablet

Just thought I'd pipe up and second the idea of meetings alternating between venues.
Sounds like an idea that might satisfy everyone e.g. sometimes somewhere on the outskirts of London for our London based members, other times somewhere closer to Bristol/Swindon for our western members etc.
All preferably within easy access of the motorway, rather than off the beaten track.

Yes, I agree we have widespread membership which makes it difficult to find a suitable venue, or difficult to get to. Living in Aylesbury, I fully understand. Your feedback will be included into the social report, and I will raise the points at the AGM.
I am jealous of those who live next to or nearby the Thames Valley hills!
